Trish Ross was born and raised in Eagle, Colorado and attended Eagle Valley High School. She attended Devry Institute in Phoenix, Arizona and majored in computer technology. She later became head technician and Mountain Animal Hospital Center for many years and has since returned as our Practice Manger. Trish enjoys snowmobiling, skiing, hiking, biking , fishing and hunting and loves all pets, including her own pet, Ami.
Dr.Sheila FitzpatrickOwner and Chief Veterinarian
Dr. Fitzpatrick earned her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, majoring in Animal Science, and was on the NCAA Division One ski team. She continued her advanced education at Colorado State University, graduating in 1991 from the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Following graduation, Dr. Fitzpatrick worked at two orthopedic referral hospitals completing her internship with the reknown orthopedic specialist for pets, Dr. Don Piermatti .
Immediately after her internship, she worked for The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) as a practice consultant, assisting over 350 veterinary hospitals in the USA improve their methods of practice and enforcing the standards of care, outlined by AAHA. Dr. Fitzpatrick has a passion for quality pet care and loved helping other veterinarians improve their standards of care.
In 1993, she founded Mountain Animal Hospital Center & Mobile Veterinarian. She continues to provide top quality veterinary care for all your Vail Valley Pets, large and small!
Dr. Fitzpatrick was born and raised in a small ski town south of Buffalo, New York called Ellicottville. It was here that she developed a passion for skiing, eventually earning a spot in the top ten downhillers in the USA. She later became certified as a coach, and continues enjoying coach younger racers when time allows.
Dr. Fitzpatrick has always cared for animals and grew up riding and showing horses, that passion today as she competes within the western states in the cutting horse competitions. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two cutting horses , Don and Sierra.
In 2007, Dr. Fitzpatrick was blessed with her little angel, Christina. Christina now helps her on all the after hours emergencies and is one of the youngest techs ever at Mountain Mobile Vet!
Dr. Michelle Branton joined our team at Mountain Animal Hospital Center & Mobile Veterinarian after ten years of practicing veterinary medicine in Southlake, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. She has been visiting our wonderful valley for over a decade and like many of us, loved the people and environment so much that she was compelled to move here. She shares the same passions as Dr. Fitzpatrick for both veterinary medicine and client relationships.
Dr. Branton was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Georgia and graduated with honors from The University of Georgia college of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Branton has been sharing her love of small animal medicine for over 24 years. She particularly enjoys internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.
When Dr. Branton is not working you may find her and her family (Randy and their Dobermans) jeeping in the back country, enjoying the ski slopes or hiking a favorite trail!

Kim graduated high school from Pueblo, Colorado and then received her bachelor degree in Microbiology, Magna Cum Laude, from Colorado State University in
1996. After graduating Suma Cum Laude from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine, she completed a medicine, surgery and emergency medicine internship at The Veterinary Specialists of Northern Colorado in Loveland Colorado in 2001. The next 10 years were spent in general practice in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Full time work included regular emergency duty as well as comprehensive medicine and surgery.
Beginning in 2008, she began training in ultrasound at the Academy of Veterinary Imaging in Arlington, Texas. After completing every ultrasound course offered, she entered their year-long DVM Imaging Program. This ended in February of 2011 with a certification exam. In 2008, she started a mobile ultrasound business, Rocky Mountain Veterinary Ultrasound, while also working full time in general practice. In July of 2011, Kim left general practice to pursue ultrasound full time and now serves many practices around the rocky mountain region.
From May of 2011 until May of 2013, Dr. Radway began working for New Jersey Mobile Associates one week per month. They are one of the highest volume mobile ultrasound practices in the country and were an amazing training ground in mobile ultrasound skills. Dr. Radway is now reading ultrasound exams through telemedicine for Sonopath.
In December of 2013, Dr. Radway earned the status of Diplomat of the American Board Veterinary Practitioners. This is one of twenty-one veterinary specialty groups accredited by a special committee of the American Board of Veterinary Specialties, a division of the American Veterinary Medical Association, to recognize excellence in clinical practice through the certification of species-oriented specialists.
Beginning in August of 2014, Dr. Radway began also reading telemedicine ultrasound cases for Sonopath, LLC a national veterinary medicine ultrasound consulting business based out of New Jersey. This has been a new and exciting addition to her busy schedule.
Kim’s favorite activities surround spending time with her husband and two daughters. This commonly includes outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking and whitewater rafting. Their house is also full of pets including 2 dogs, 1 cat, a guinea pig and two horses.
Dr. Gentry is boarded by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and specializes in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
His top-notch orthopedic care and speciality surgeries are performed at our Animal Surgical and Hospital Center in Eagle, Colorado.
Dr. Gentry is available by appointment and also will perform pre-operative consultations.

Shelby came to Colorado from Indiana, where her passion for horses and small animals started. She worked for an equine veterinarian there prior to settling in Burns, Colorado. Shelby has a natural ability with animals and is passionate about providing quality care.
In her free time, She and her husband, Austin are preparing for their first baby boy! They enjoy horseback riding in the back country, hunting, and anything that gets her in the colorado outdoors!

Paxton is a native of Aspen, Colorado where she graduated from Aspen High School and pursued a career in marketing and social media. Her passion for pets and working with the public brought her to us.
When not making all the pets and customers laugh and smile, Paxton enjoys walking with her dog Buckeye and playing with her cat Mittens.

Jackson is a local boy from Gypsum who aspires to attend veterinary school. Jackson enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family, including his furry friends including his dog and three horses.
Peyton McpeakVeterinary Assistant
Recently moved to Colorado from Texas after receiving a wildlife biology degree from Texas Tech University. While receiving her undergraduate degree she assisted in alligator ecology research and assisted in tracking wildlife populations in West Texas. In her free time she loves to scuba dive and enjoys being outdoors.

Dr. Madeline Wheeler, originally from Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Her special interests include small animal surgery and anesthesia and small ruminant and camelid medicine. She enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, playing violin, and spending time with friends and family, and she is looking forward to adopting a dog in the near future! She is very excited to start her career at Mountain Animal Hospital & Mobile Veterinarian, and is looking forward to the unique privilege of helping the community in the mountains of Colorado by providing veterinary care and support for their pets.
