Dr. Sheila Fitzpatrick, DVMOwner and Chief Veterinarian
Dr. Fitzpatrick earned her undergraduate degree at Cornell University majoring in Animal Science. She also was on the NCAA Division One Ski Team. She continued her advanced education at Colorado State University, graduating in 1991 from the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Fitzpatrick is passionate about providing quality veterinary medical care and has built one of the finest veterinary hospitals in the western US over the past 28 years. She specializes in small animal surgery and dentistry, as well as Equine Dentistry.
Dr. Madeline Wheeler, DVMVeterinarian
Dr. Wheeler, originally from Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Her special interests include small animal surgery and anesthesia and small ruminant and camelid medicine. She enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, playing violin, and spending time with friends and family, and she is looking forward to adopting a dog in the near future! She loves working at Mountain Animal Hospital & Mobile Veterinarian helping the community by providing veterinary care and support for their pets.
Dr. Michelle Branton, DVMVeterinarian
Dr. Michelle Branton, DVM, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing small animal medicine for 27 years. She joined our team 3 years ago and is proud to call the Vail valley her home.

Dr. Radway graduated high school from Pueblo, Colorado and then received her bachelor degree in Microbiology, Magna Cum Laude, from Colorado State University in 1996.
Dr. Darren Imhoff, DVMVeterinary Specialty Surgeon
Dr. Imhoff is a graduate of Colorado State University and a Board Certified Surgeon with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, Dr. Darren performs specialty surgeries by appointment. He especially loves to help people with dogs and cats in need of surgery including surgery for a torn cruciate ligament (TPLO), other orthopedic procedures, soft tissue surgeries, and minimally invasive surgeries.
Dr. Steven Gentry, DVMVeterinary Specialty Surgeon
Dr. Gentry is boarded by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and specializes in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
His top-notch orthopedic care and specialty surgeries are performed at our own Mountain Animal Hospital.
Dr. Gentry is available by appointment and also will perform pre-operative consultations.
Jenee Miller, CVTVeterinary Practice Manager
Jenne is a lifelong local of the Vail valley and enjoys all aspects of mountain living. Along with her husband and two sons, she enjoys hiking fishing and snowboarding. Jenne graduated from Colorado Mountain College's Veterinary Technician program. She is also has a large interest in exotic animals and collects a variety of reptiles and amphibians.
Melody Smith, CVTCertified Veterinary Technician
Melody graduated from Bel Rea Institute of Animal Technology in the spring of 2021 and passed her VTNE with flying colors shortly after! She loves long mountain drives and watching competitive reality TV.

Jackson is a local from Gypsum who aspires to attend veterinary school. Jackson enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family, including his furry friends including his dog and three horses.

Kayanna was born and raised in Colorado. She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science. She likes to team rope and barrel race on her spare time.

Sharon is a San Diego Christian College grad who has been in Colorado for the better part of a decade. She spends as much time as possible with her two furry kids on the river and in the mountains. Sharon is passionate about giving the best care possible to your furry family members and strives to make Mountain Animal Hospital a positive experience for every pet that comes through the doors.

Bri is an animal lover and an avid outdoors woman. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, gardening, and canning. She recently moved back to Eagle County after living in Fort Collins for the past 10 years. Her furry kids include her bull terrier Stitch, her cat Phinda, and a flock of five chickens.
Brittany ParkerCustomer Service Team
Brittany has been living in the Vail Valley since 2015. Originally from the good ole' Midwest (Illinois), but the mountains have always been good to her. She is thrilled to have joined the Mountain Animal Hospital Center Team in November 2020. Her love for animals and customer service has been able to flourish in this environment! Brittany has one cat named is Bo Katan but also lives with two perfect pups!
